Q: What types of cases do you file on behalf of medical providers?
A: Two types of cases. We file individual cases for medical providers where we aggregate the amount of reductions or denials due to a particular practice into one lawsuit. Where appropriate and where the client agrees, we also file class action cases designed to benefit other medical providers by stopping a particular practice and obtaining monetary benefits for reductions or denials. For example, we filed Silent PPO class actions for medical providers in Florida to stop the application of Silent PPO discounts to auto insurance PIP and medical expense claims.
